Widescreen monitors look exactly the same as standard resolution...they are more common for laptops than desktops though because the point is to make the laptop smaller/lighter without losing too much screen space There are several common widescreen resolutions...which makes it difficult for widescreen users to get lots of nice wallpapers unfortunately...I use a resolution with a display ratio of 16:10 which is usually either 1920x1200 or 1680x1050 In comparison, standard resolution walls are at a ratio of 4:3

Widescreen laptops are becoming popular because most companies are only making widescreen laptops now It takes a little getting used to the different shape but it's nice to have a wider view

Yeah widescreen... I've just heard about it recently... widescreen.. how does a widescreen monitor look like? Does it looks like a normal monitor that we usually see with our laptop or desktop?

Yeah, and I just cleaned up like 25 years worth of dust. The living room wasn't any cleaner then when I last saw it, unfortunately, except some of that girl's stuff was in garbage bags (that I almost threw out), so I spent the morning cleaning. My sore throat got a bit worst 'cause of that damned dust, but now the living room looks a heck lot better xD

Widescreen rocks. :) So the 1920x1200 resolution scales okay to smaller widescreens? The only widescreen I have is a work monitor that's 1920x1200 so I have no idea how the walls scale. Good to know :)

Ah, now I see what you mean. I changed the shadow so it should look alright now, even if the edit was really subtle.

As for my avatar, I vectored Muta today and because he is such a great character and because he has this lovely look on his face I just had to make him my avatar :D

If you can't handle svg's and want an even bigger png, just ask and I'll upload it. The shadow under the skirt looks like that in the screenshot too, so you might blame Ghibli :P Jokes aside, how would the shadow look better?
